My favourite gadgets, software, and other recommendations.
I often get asked what tools and resources I use to develop software and maintain productivity, or what I use to purchase time when delaying. All of my favourite things are compiled here.
Development tools
PhpStorm
It has everything I need and nothing I don’t. I’ve tried a lot of other IDEs and this is the one that works best for me.
Pycharm
I use this for Python development. The IDE is very similar to PhpStorm, but it has a few extra features that make it better suited for Python development.
Github
GitHub is my ultimate productivity tool, allowing me to collaborate with team members, track and resolve issues, and manage my projects efficiently all in one place.
Docker
Using Docker, I can easily package and deploy my applications and services, saving time and effort and increasing my productivity as a developer.
Design
Figma
I started using Figma as just a design tool but now it’s become our virtual whiteboard for the entire company. Never would have expected the collaboration features to be the real hook.
Productivity
Notion
With Notion, I can easily organize and track my tasks, schedule, and notes all in one place, boosting my productivity and helping me stay on top of my workload.
Spotify
With Spotify, I can discover new music and curate my own playlist for every mood and occasion, turning mundane tasks into enjoyable experiences and helping me stay motivated and productive.
Windy
It Copy elements from any website as a Tailwind CSS component. It is a life saver.
